Saturday it was the Ascension of Baha’u’llah.
The Ascension of Baha’u’llah is an important day for Baha’is, celebrated on May 29th at 3am. A day commemorating the anniversary of the death of the founder of the Baha’i faith, Baha’u’llah, and remembering his teachings. He died peacefully in the morning of the 29th May 1982 and was buried in Bahji. He is buried in a shrine surrounded by a wonderful garden designed to symbolise the order of the future world. Pilgrims will visit this shrine in Israel and pray. This is a solemn day of rest, reading and chanting.
